Position Overview:

We are offering a paid, part-time Photography Internship from October 30th to December 31st, 2024. This position provides an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic photography student or beginner photographer to learn hands-on skills, work closely with professional photographers, and contribute to a variety of exciting projects. You will gain valuable experience in both shooting and post-production while building your portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with on-location and in-studio photoshoots, including setup and breakdown of equipment.
• Help organize and manage photography gear, ensuring everything is in proper working order.
• Support post-production tasks such as sorting, editing, and retouching images using software like Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
• Contribute creative ideas for shoots, styling, and lighting setups.
• Help manage digital files, maintain organization of photo libraries, and back up work.
• Assist in client communications and preparations for shoots.
• Attend team meetings and contribute to creative brainstorming sessions.
• Perform other administrative tasks as needed to support the photography team.

Requirements:

• Strong passion for photography and willingness to learn.
• Basic knowledge of camera equipment and photography principles (composition, lighting, etc.).
• Familiarity with photo editing software such as Adobe Lightroom or Photoshop is a plus.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
• Ability to handle constructive feedback and improve work based on guidance.
• Must have a portfolio or samples of photography work (even if it’s school projects or personal work).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree in photography, visual arts, or a related field.
• Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, Pinterest, etc.) and interest in digital marketing is a bonus.
